Middle East Education through Technology is an innovative educational initiative founded in 2003 by a group of young Israelis and Palestinians. MEET's long-term aim is to create a network of future Israeli and Palestinian business leaders, who speak the same professional language, have an understanding of their opposite number's viewpoint, and appreciate the advantages of working together.
As part of efforts to achieve this, MEET has developed a three-year IT and management training program for 15-year-old Israeli and Palestian youngsters. The training takes place in Jerusalem, and is planned and run by employees of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
MEET offers its students the chance to study in a neutral and professional environment. All students are granted equal opportunities, and have the chance to form long-lasting ties with one another.
